You will need to remove the two (2) interior panel screws that secure the plastic cover over the gearshift assembly to the "firewall." If using nuts (recommended) on the bottom, you will need to remove both seats. One side at a time, stack the mounting pieces (top & bottom) into the locking lug cuts of the metal bracket. If using washers (recommended), place on top of top mounting bracket. Line up screws with OEM holes through the plastic gear shift panel and sheet metal. If using nuts (recommended), secure them on the bottom of screws. Use of self-tapping sheet metal screws, like OEM, can put potential wear on the original sheet metal holes, as they weren't intended for the stresses of holding a drink in front of it.
